The Maternity Services Liaison Committee, (MSLC), is an NHS funded initiative, made up from parent representatives, local midwives, doctors and other health professionals, who meet at least six times a year, to discuss how the Brighton and Hove maternity services are being run.
The parent representatives are responsible for being the voice of the service user, ensuring that the views of service users are taken into account when maternity decisions are being made and that the needs of women and their families are being considered.
The Brighton and Hove Maternity Services Liaison Committee provide information and support for local parents and parents-to-be on all aspects of pregnancy, birth and the first few months of parenthood, offering contacts within the maternity services network, and access to key people that are there to help at any time during pregnancy and beyond.
If you have questions or concerns or are interested in getting involved please get in touch.
